NancyREES27.01.1913 - 04.04.2008 The family of the late Nancy, aged 95 years, of The Parade, Ferndale, would like to thank relatives, friends and colleagues for their cards, flowers and messages of sympathy during their recent sad bereavement. Nancy lived all her life in Ferndale and was well known in the locality, mother to twins Donald and David, mother-in-law to Marlene and Jean, grandmother to Nigel, Neil, Alison, Marcus, Karen and James, and great-grandmother to Joshua, Gabriella, Luke and Zachary. It would have meant a lot to her that so many attended the service at the chapel and cemetery. Special thanks to Joan Hadfield, Elaine and Norman Hadfield, and Cheryl and Anthony Beach for their support and care over many years, to Wendy and Glyn Lewis, Lana and Keith Evans, Llinos and Mel Stinchcombe, Pat Pike, and Beverley for their kindness and friendship, particularly when Nancy became confined to the house, to Iris Griffiths and the members of Wesley Chapel, Ferndale, to the Rev Norman Hadfield for the moving service he conducted at the chapel and graveside. Thanks to Fox Brothers for their dignified service and to all carers and district nurses involved in Nancy's care over the last few years also to the staff of Central Pharmacy, Ferndale. We thank you all for your attendance at the funeral and for donations in lieu of flowers to the RAF Benevolent Fund, amounting to £530.
